Abstract

The development of technology today has encouraged various digital transactions to conduct cashless and cardless transactions. Therefore, the term digital wallet emerged. Digital wallets have allowed users to store money and then make transactions with partners. Many companies have created digital wallets, one of which is DANA. Despite the rapid development of the DANA digital wallet application since 2018, users still report various types of complaints when using the DANA application. This has made DANA get more than 600,000 one-star reviews with 4.1 stars in the Google Play application. Through this background, the research wants to analyze the influence of technology use factors on the intention and behavior of using the DANA digital wallet based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) theoretical model initiated by Venkatesh. The sample studied amounted to 276 DANA users from various cities in Indonesia and was taken using convenience sampling technique. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the seven Factors of Technology Use (FPT) consisting of Performance Expectations (PE), Effort Expectations (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Price Value (PV), and Habit (H) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on each variable of Behavioral Intention (BI) and Usage Behavior (UB).
