Pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi e-commerce dan inovasi dengan pengambilan risiko sebagai mediasi pada kinerja UMKM

Abstract

Digital technology is rapidly evolving. One example of this development is e-commerce. Entrepreneurs can use e-commerce to develop or start new businesses. To attract customers' attention, creativity is required. Creativity is the process of creating something unique. E-commerce and creativity help entrepreneurs to improve their business performance. However, implementing these two aspects can also pose detrimental risks. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of e-commerce and creativity on the performance of SMEs mediated by risk-taking. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The sample consists of 100 respondents from SMEs in the culinary sector, selected using the purposive sampling method. The sample data were collected using Google Form. The sample data were then processed using outer model analysis and inner model analysis with SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study indicate that e-commerce has a significant positive effect on MSME performance, innovation has a significant positive effect on MSME performance, risk-taking does not have a significant effect on MSME performance, e-commerce has a significant positive effect on risk-taking, innovation has a significant positive effect on risk-taking, risk-taking does not mediate the relationship between e-commerce and MSME performance, and risk-taking does not mediate the relationship between innovation and MSME performance.


Teknologi digital berkembang dengan cepat. Salah satu contoh perkembangan tersebut yaitu e-commerce. Pengusaha bisa menggunakan e-commerce untuk mengembangkan atau memulai usaha baru. Untuk dapat menarik perhatian pembeli, diperlukan inovasi. Inovasi menjadi proses untuk menciptakan sesuatu yang unik. E-commerce dan inovasi membantu pengusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja usahanya. Namun dalam mengimplementasikan kedua hal tersebut juga dapat memunculkan risiko yang merugikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-commerce dan inovasi terhadap kinerja UMKM yang dimediasi dengan pengambilan risiko. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan UMKM di sektor kuliner sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Google Form yang disebar. Kemudian data sampel diolah dengan menggunakan outer model analysis dan inner model analysis pada software SmartPLS 4. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-commerce berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, inovasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, pengambilan risiko tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, e-commerce berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pengambilan risiko, inovasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pengambilan risiko, pengambilan risiko tidak memediasi hubungan e-commerce dengan kinerja UMKM, serta pengambilan risiko tidak memediasi hubungan inovasi dengan kinerja UMKM.
