Pengaruh literasi keuangan, pengetahuan investasi, dan faktor sosial terhadap minat berinvestasi saham Generasi Z

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of financial literacy, investment knowledge and social factors on investment interest. The type of research used by researchers is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was carried out using a single cross-sectional method, and the data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. The criteria for respondents in this study are undergraduate students with management majors and working employees with a minimum of S1 education, both male and female, who are included in the generation Z group, with a minimum adult age of 17 years to 29 years in Jabodetabek and have an interest in stock investment in the capital market. The data sample in this study amounted to 203 samples obtained from employe and college student. Data analyzed by using SPSS and LISREL 8.80 software. The result showed that good financial literacy and investment knowledge have a positive effect to investment interest and very important to foster Generation Z's investment interest in the capital market, hence the need for education regarding effective and efficient financial management by educational institutions and financial institutions such as the Financial Services Authority. The results of this research explain that social factor including social interaction and human behavior had an impact to investment interest of Generation Z.


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dari literasi keuangan, pengetahuan investasi dan faktor sosial terhadap minat berinvestasi. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode single cross-sectional dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Kriteria responden pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 dengan jurusan manajemen dan karyawan kerja dengan pendidikan minimal S1 baik laki-laki maupun perempuan yang termasuk dalam golongan generasi Z usia dewasa minimal 17 tahun sampai dengan 29 tahun di Jabodetabek serta memiliki minat terhadap investasi saham di pasar modal. Sampel data pada penelitian ini berjumlah 203 sampel yang didapatkan dari karyawan dan mahasiswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS dan LISREL 8.80. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan pengetahuan investasi yang baik memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat berinvestasi dan sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan minat investasi Generasi Z di pasar modal maka perlunya pendidikan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif dan efisien oleh lembaga pendidikan dan lembaga keuangan seperti Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menerangkan bahwa faktor sosial termasuk interaksi sosial dan perilaku seseorang memiliki dampak terhadap minat berinvestasi Generasi Z.
