Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap investment intention generasi Z

Abstract
Generation Z is considered a pivotal factor in determining the success of a nation. Progress in education is crucial for the economic advancement of a country. Understanding investment principles can contribute to a nation's development, as managed funds through corporate investments can be utilized for business expansion, ultimately creating job opportunities for the community. Generation Z must comprehend the influential factors affecting investment intentions. This research aims to gather information on the factors influencing investment intentions among generation Z. Surveys were distributed to 295 students at Maranatha Christian University, and the collected data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4. The findings revealed that financial literacy significantly influences investment intentions positively. However, risk perception and perceived behavior control do not significantly impact investment intentions. In conclusion, this study suggests that Generation Z requires in-depth financial literacy to achieve short-term and long-term financial goals.
Generasi Z merupakan generasi yang menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan suatu bangsa. Memiliki kemajuan dalam pendidikan merupakan hal penting dalam kemajuan ekonomi suatu negara. Melalui pemahaman tentang investasi dapat membantu perkembangan suatu negara, karena melalui investasi dana yang dikelola oleh perusahaan dapat digunakan untuk melakukan ekspansi pada bisnis usaha dan dapat membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat. Penting bagi generasi Z untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap niat investasi. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada niat investasi. Peneliti menyebarkan data survei kepada mahasiswa Universitas Kristen Maranatha dan mendapatkan 295 responden. Dari hasil data yang terkumpul lalu dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 4. Dari hasil pengolahan tersebut ditemukan bahwa faktor literasi keuangan menjadi faktor yang memberikan pengaruh pada niat investasi secara positif namun persepsi risiko dan persepsi kontrol perilaku tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat berinvestasi. Kesimpulan studi ini adalah generasi Z memerlukan pemahaman mendalam tentang literasi keuangan untuk mencapai tujuan keuangan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang.
