Analisis perceived organizational support dan work environment terhadap job satisfaction dan implikasinya terhadap turnover intention (Studi kasus pada industri perbankan)

Abstract

The banking industry is one of the many business types that are supported by the ever-advanced technology improvements. Within the financial sector, the industry of industrial banking involves the collection of community money and its subsequent utilization as credit. It will also be discovered in 2023 that there are 3,449 bank branch offices in Indonesia. This issue clarified how the existing plenty of banks encourage competition amongst banks to raise the standard of each bank. In the financial sector, this also leads to a rise in intentions to leave. Research is required to determine whether the work environment and perceived organizational support have an impact on job satisfaction based on prior findings and their effects on the intention to turnover. The SEM method is the technique used to determine the influence of these elements. Although 106 respondents were employed in this survey, the research could only use 100 respondents. The findings of the study indicate that the work environment and perceived organizational support are the elements that affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a factor that determines turnover intention; the turnover intention is not affected by the variables of perceived organizational support and work environment.


Industri perbankan merupakan salah satu jenis usaha yang didukung oleh kemajuan teknologi yang semakin maju. Dalam sektor keuangan, industri perbankan menghimpun dana dari masyarakat dan selanjutnya disalurkan dalam bentuk kredit. Diketahui juga pada tahun 2023, terdapat 3.449 kantor cabang bank di Indonesia. Hal ini memperjelas bagaimana banyaknya bank yang ada telah mendorong persaingan antar bank untuk meningkatkan standar masing-masing bank. Hal ini juga menyebabkan meningkatnya turnover intention yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, dibutuhkan penelitian untuk menentukan apakah lingkungan kerja dan perceived organizational support yang dirasakan berdampak pada kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SEM untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang diberikan terhadap turnover intention. Penyebaran kuesioner ini melibatkan 106 responden dan hanya 100 responden yang dapat digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan perceived organizational support merupakan faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja merupakan faktor yang menentukan turnover intention; turnover intention tidak terpengaruh oleh variabel perceived organizational support dan lingkungan kerja.
