Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition to adulthood, however, often teenagers choose to to behave aggressively. Adolescent aggression behavior is also influenced by their values. Teaching fundamental humanity values can be provided by the environment most familiar with teenagers, which is the family. Partners, who are social care workers from Marsudi Putra Handayani orphanage, have an important role in providing assistance to children and young people who have problems with the law. If the children and adolescents live together with the orphanage staff, teaching values can also be done by the orphanage staff. This can be done by providing psychoeducation through counseling and focused group discussion (FGD) to the orphanage workers. The results achieved from psychoeducation is that workers now possess knowledge about the values that exist in adolescents living at the orphanage and know effective ways of communicating with adolescents in order to teach values
