VISUAL is a journal of art and design published by the Faculty of Art and Design of Tarumanagara University. This journal presents manuscripts that have context and relevance to the fields of art and design, as well as a vehicle for the development of science, technology, art and culture in general.

 The definition of visual (visual) is taken from the word "Visual Art" which means fine art. VISUAL is a form, whether it is two-dimensional or three-dimensional. This definition also includes the notion of design which contains a synergy of function and beauty.

The VISUAL Journal has a mission to act as a medium that displays various thoughts of academicians and researchers on matters that have context and relevance to the fields of art and design, as well as a vehicle for the development of science, technology, art and culture in general, so that it is expected to be able to support the scientific development of art and design.
