PENGGUNAAN PERALATAN ELEKTRONIK DENGAN BENAR DAN AMAN BAGI WARGA KELURAHAN WIJAYA KUSUMA JAKARTA BARAT

Abstract

Electronic equipment, especially those intended for households, can provide convenience for housewives, so it is not surprising that there are various types of household electronic equipment in the market, ranging from unique ones to those that are not really needed. Most of the existing household electronic equipment is in the form of automatic electronic equipment whose control is carried out automatically by an electronic circuit in the equipment. As users of household electronic equipment, housewives should have knowledge of how the equipment works so that it can function properly, be safely used, have a long life and do not cause harm. Therefore, the Community Service (PKM) program which is one of the Tridharma Higher Education activities entitled Training on the Use of Electronic Equipment in the Household is expected to increase public knowledge about the correct and safe use of household electronic equipment. PKM partners are residents of RT 005 RW 010, Wijaya Kusuma sub-district, Grogol Petamburan sub-district, West Jakarta, consisting of housewives and young women. Submission of PKM program material during the COVID-19 pandemic is done online through the TeamLink application. This PKM program is beneficial for participants, as seen from the results of the participant satisfaction survey where 82.4% of participants gave a score of 4 (good) and 17.6% of participants responded that the benefits of this training were very good by giving a score of 5 (very good) on the satisfaction scale. (scale value from 1-5). The results of this activity are in the form of posters and presentation modules registered with intellectual property rights in the form of Copyrights, procedures for applying appropriate technology for partners, and scientific articles published in national journals.

ABSTRAK:

Peralatan elektronik khususnya yang diperuntukkan bagi rumah tangga dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga, maka tidak heran jika di pasaran beredar beraneka jenis peralatan elektronik rumah tangga mulai dari yang unik sampai yang tidak terlalu dibutuhkan. Peralatan elektronik rumah tangga yang ada kebanyakan berupa peralatan elektronik otomatis yang pengendaliannya dilakukan secara otomatis oleh suatu rangkaian elektronik di dalam peralatan tersebut. Sebagai pengguna peralatan elektronik rumah tangga hendaknya ibu-ibu mempunyai pengetahuan tentang cara kerja peralatan tersebut sehingga peralatan yang digunakan dapat berfungsi dengan baik, aman dan berumur panjang serta tidak menimbulkan kerugian. Karena itu program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang merupakan salah satu kegiatan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi berjudul Pelatihan Penggunaan Peralatan Elektronik pada Rumah Tangga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penggunaan peralatan elektronik rumah tangga dengan benar dan aman. Mitra PKM adalah warga RT 005 RW 010 kelurahan Wijaya Kusuma kecamatan Grogol Petamburan Jakarta Barat yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri Penyampaian materi program PKM pada masa pandemi COVID-19 ini dilakukan secara daring melalui aplikasi TeamLink. Program PKM ini bermanfaat bagi peserta, terlihat dari hasil survei kepuasan peserta dimana 82,4% peserta memberi nilai 4 (baik) dan 17,6% peserta memberikan respon bahwa manfaat pelatihan ini sangat baik dengan memberi nilai 5 (sangat baik) pada skala kepuasan (nilai skala dari 1-5). Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa luaran berbentuk poster dan modul presentasi yang didaftarkan pada hak kekayaan intelektual berupa Hak Cipta, prosedur penerapan teknologi tepat guna bagi mitra, dan artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional.
