Studi Korelasi Celebrity Worship dan Kualitas Hidup pada Penggemar K-pop Berusia Dewasa Awal yang Menggunakan Aplikasi X

Abstract
Musik K-pop banyak digemari oleh masyarakat global saat ini. Penggemar K-pop tidak hanya menyukai musik K-pop, namun juga mengidolakan para penyanyinya. Penggemar K-pop sering mengikuti berita terbaru hingga mengumpulkan informasi pribadi mengenai idolanya, salah satunya melalui aplikasi X. Perilaku ini dikenal sebagai celebrity worship, yaitu perilaku yang cenderung menunjukkan hubungan parasosial dan obsesi terhadap idolanya. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menemukan kaitan antara celebrity worship dengan beberapa aspek kualitas hidup, namun hasilnya masih inkonsisten. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengidentifikasi korelasi antara celebrity worship dengan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang menggunakan teknik nonprobablity sampling berjenis purposive sampling. Alat ukur Celebrity Attitude Scale 23-item digunakan untuk mengukur celebrity worship, sedangkan kualitas hidup diukur dengan WHOQOL-BREF. Partisipan pada penelitian ini melibatkan 482 penggemar K-pop berusia 20 hingga 40 tahun atau dewasa awal, dan aktif menggunakan aplikasi X untuk mendukung aktivitas celebrity worship yang dilakukan. Analisis korelasi menggunakan metode Pearson menunjukkan koefisien r = 0,106 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0,02 < 0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara celebrity worship dengan kualitas hidup pada penggemar K-pop yang menggunakan aplikasi X di kalangan dewasa awal. Semakin tinggi tingkat celebrity worship, maka semakin tinggi tingkat kualitas hidup individu, dan demikian pula sebaliknya.
