Abstract

Community Service activities are carried out together with a team of lecturers, a team of students, and junior high school students in Ciherang Village, Cianjur. The problem faced by junior high school students in Ciherang Village is none other than the impact of the earthquake disaster in the Cianjur area. As a result, post-earthquake trauma and junior high school students' activities tend to be undirected due to collapsed school buildings and houses. As a solution, Community Service conducted a 'doodle' drawing activity in the emergency tent. 'Doodle' is a free drawing activity to express oneself and describe personal experiences, circumstances, and current surrounding situations. The 'doodle' drawing activity aims to direct students to be more productive with the introduction of 'doodle' and reduce post-earthquake trauma because 'doodle' is a form of art therapy. The method used in this Community Service is the demonstration method through a group discussion approach by students with junior high school students. The method of implementation is to divide junior high school students into several groups, distribute bags containing tools for activities, follow the direction of the lecturer who demonstrates making various forms of lines in various directions while accompanied by students, students create their own creations by making the composition of the lines that have been practiced, and coloring their 'doodles' with soft pastels and watercolors. As a result of the implementation of this activity, students who were previously more often in refugee tents have more organized activities.
