WELAS ASIH DIRI DAN STRESS PADA PEREMPUAN PENGGUNA MEDIA SOSIAL

Abstract
Penggunaan media sosial telah sering dikaitkan dengan stres dan masalah kesehatan mental pada perempuan, sementara belakangan ini welas asih diri (self-compassion) telah diidentifikasi sebagai faktor protektif yang berpotensi mengurangi tingkat stres. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara welas asih diri dan tingkat stres pada perempuan pengguna media sosial di Indonesia. Partisipan terdiri dari 363 perempuan yang direkrut melalui kuesioner daring menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengukuran tingkat stres dilakukan menggunakan subskala stres dari Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-42) versi Indonesia yang diadaptasi oleh Widyana, Safitri, dan Sumiharso (2020). Sementara itu, tingkat welas asih diri diukur dengan Skala Welas Asih versi Indonesia yang diadaptasi oleh Sugianto, Suwartono, dan Sutanto (2020). Analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara welas asih diri dan stres (r = -0.727; p < 0.01), yang berarti semakin tinggi welas asih diri, semakin rendah tingkat stres yang dialami. Analisis tiap aspek welas asih diri menunjukkan bahwa aspek positif (self-kindness, common humanity, dan mindfulness) berkorelasi negatif dengan stres, sedangkan aspek negatif welas asih diri (self-judgment, isolation, dan over-identification) berkorelasi positif dengan stres. Analisis tambahan menggunakan independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa perempuan dengan pendidikan tinggi memiliki welas asih diri yang lebih tinggi dan tingkat stres yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan perempuan yang tidak berpendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya welas asih diri sebagai faktor protektif dalam manajemen stres pada perempuan pengguna media sosial, serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan intervensi psikologis berbasis welas asih diri.
