Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many activities have to be done from home, including buying foods through online delivery. Beatyourmeat.id is one of the culinary micro enterprises (SME) located in Bogor who receives many orders through online platform during COVID-19 pandemic. The food from Beatyourmeat.id’s kitchen is delivered manually by the Beatyourmeat.id’s employees to online drivers or couriers. This manual process is vulnerable to COVID-19 spreading. Therefore, a solution to replace this manual process is highly needed. The advance solution is a food delivery robot that is built through this community service program, named GATE DELIVERYBOT. GATE DELIVERYBOT is equipped with an eminence feature, i.e. an automatic hand sanitizer, to clean the couriers’ hands before grabbing the food inside the box. A visit to Beatyourmeat.id location is done as a starting step in this community service program. Following the Robot design process according to Beatyourmeat.id’s layout, component purchasing, assembling, coding, then testing, implementation and evaluation process. GATE DELIVERYBOT has successfully operated in delivering the packages or foods from the kitchen to online couriers by following the certain path. An automatic hand sanitizer feature is also successfully operated by dispensing hand sanitizer liquid while a hand detected as an input in the sensor. Satisfaction comes from Beatyourmeat.id, a micro enterprise (SME) served in this program, when GATE DELIVERYBOT implemented. Beatyourmeat.id gives score 4 (the best score) and provides feedback forfuture GATE DELIVERYBOT development


ABSTRAK:

Di masa Pandemi COVID-19, banyak aktivitas yang harus dilakukan dari rumah, salah satunya adalah proses pembelian makanan yang harus dilakukan secara daring dari rumah. Beatyourmeat.id adalah salah satu bisnis usaha mikro di daerah Bogor yang bergerak di bidang kuliner dan banyak menerima pesanan secara daring selama masa Pandemi COVID-19. Proses pengantaran makanan dari area dapur Beatyourmeat.id kepada kurir atau supir ojek daring selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual oleh karyawan Beatyourmeat.id sehingga rentan terjadi persebaran virus Corona. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan solusi berupa robot pengantar makanan yang dapat menggantikan proses pengantaran manual ini. Robot pengantar makanan yang dikembangkan dalam program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dinamakan GATE DELIVERYBOT yang dilengkapi dengan kelebihan fitur sistem auto hand sanitizer dispenser atau hand sanitizer otomatis untuk membersihkan tangan kurir atau supir ojek daring sebelum mengambil makanan yang terdapat di dalam boks. Proses pelaksanaan program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini diawali dengan survei lokasi mitra, lalu pembuatan desain Robot menyesuaikan tata letak lokasi mitra, yang dilanjutkan dengan proses pembelian alat dan komponen, lalu perakitannya, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses pemrograman robot, sampai pada tahap pengujian, implementasi dan evaluasi. GATE DELIVERYBOT telah berhasil berjalan dan mengantarkan paket atau makanan dengan lancar sesuai jalur yang telah ditentukan. Fitur auto hand sanitizer dispenser juga telah berhasil beroperasi mengeluarkan cairan hand sanitizer ketika ada input tangan pengguna. Mitra Beatyourmeat.id sangat puas dengan memberikan nilai 4 (terbaik) pada semua aspek penilaian dan memberikan saran pengembangan agar ke depannya GATE DELIVERYBOT dapat dikendalikan melalui handphone.
