PERAN MODAL PSIKOLOGIS DALAM PERILAKU KERJA INOVATIF STAFF GENERASI Z

Abstract
This study explores the role of psychological capital in the innovative work behavior of generation Z employees. The urgency of this research stems from the growing perception that generation Z individuals are often labeled as the "strawberry generation" or having difficulties innovating under workplace pressures. The aim is to assess the extent to which psychological capital influences the innovative work behavior of generation Z employees. Participants included 152 generation Z employees working in start-up companies. Data were collected using the psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ-24) with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.969 and the innovative work behavior scale (IWB) with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.933. Linear regression analysis revealed a significant contribution of psychological capital to the innovative work behavior of Generation Z employees for 84% of the variance. Hence, it can be concluded that psychological capital plays a crucial role in fostering innovative work behavior. Further research is encouraged to focus on training programs aimed at enhancing psychological capital and fostering innovative engagement among Generation Z employees.
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran modal psikologis terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan generasi Z. Penelitian ini memiliki urgensi seiring meningkatnya persepi umum terhadap generasi Z yang sering dianggap generasi strawberry atau memiliki kesulitan dalam berinovasi ketika dihadapkan pada tekanan di lingkungan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana modal psikologis berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan generasi Z. Partisipan pada penelitian adalah 152 karyawan generasi Z yang bekerja di perusahaan start-up. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ-24) dengan koefisien reliabilitas Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0.969 dan innovative work behavior scale (IWB) dengan koefisien reliabilitas Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0.933. Berdasarkan metode regresi linier menunjukan bahwa modal psikologis berperan secara signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan generasi Z dengan terjadinya sumbangan sebesar 84% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel modal psikologis berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya dapat fokus pada program pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan modal psikologis dan keterlibatan inovatif karyawan generasi Z.
