Abstract
Human resource management is an essential aspect of winning the market. However, the management effort encountered one of the challenges, namely the high turnover rate. Retail company X in Bekasi also faced a similar challenge with a turnover rate of 7.67%. This figure is higher than the turnover target of 5.51%. To answer this challenge, the author developed a recruitment method called Prepto (Proses Rekrutmen Penurun Turnover). The program consists of developing a company profile, types of interview questions, and parental/guardian approval letters. A month after the program was implemented, the turnover rate in January 2022 could be reduced to 3.31%. The Prepto program can be developed further by conducting year-on-year comparisons and involving more respondents so that the program's effectiveness can be more visible.
Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia merupakan aspek penting dalam memenangkan pasar. Namun, usaha pengelolaan tersebut menemui salah satu tantangan yaitu tingginya tingkat turnover. Perusahaan ritel X di Bekasi juga menghadapi tantangan serupa dengan tingkat turnover sebesar 7,67%. Angka tersebut lebih besar dari target turnover yaitu 5,51%. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, penulis mengembangkan metode rekrutmen yang disebut dengan Prepto (Proses Rekrutmen Penurun Turnover). Program tersebut terdiri dari pengembangan company profile, jenis pertanyaan wawancara, dan surat persetujuan orang tua/ wali. Sebulan setelah program tersebut dijalankan, angka turnover di bulan Januari 2022 dapat ditekan menjadi 3,31%. Program Prepto dapat dikembangkan lebih jauh dengan melakukan perbandingan year on year dan melibatkan responden yang lebih banyak supaya efektivitas program dapat lebih terlihat.
