INTENSI PERILAKU SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR PERILAKU AFFORDABLE LOSS DENGAN MODERASI PERSEPSI KETIDAKPASTIAN PADA PEMILIK UKM DI JAKARTA
Main Article Content
Abstract
Affordable loss behavior illustrates that paying attention to losses from entrepreneurial investments rather than predicting future financial profits is a more reliable condition because information about this is easier to obtain. Behavioral intention is the best predictor of behavior. This research was conducted on SME owners in Jakarta to determine affordable loss behavior influenced by behavioral intentions and moderated by perceptions of uncertainty. As long as the conditions between behavioral intentions and behavior are stable and do not cause significant changes, behavioral predictions using intentions will be accurate. Forecasts of future profits are more influenced by changes in circumstances, which often force entrepreneurs to change plans. One variable that can change intentions is the perception of uncertainty. The uncertainty an individual perceives can influence intentions, changing the behavior and making it different from previous behavioral intentions. A sample of 200 SME owners was selected non-randomly and by the objectives of this research. By using PLS analysis and the help of SmartPLS version 4 software, the results obtained show that behavioral intentions can be used to predict affordable loss behavior of SME owners. At the same time, perceived uncertainty weakens the relationship between intentions and affordable loss behavior. The results of this research can provide input for regulators in developing SMEs when facing a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
