Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi, Desain Kerja terhadap Performa Kerja, Komitmen Pekerja sebagai Mediasi

Abstract

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji bagaimana pengaruh yang diberikan oleh budaya organisasi dan desain kerja terhadap performa kerja pada pekerja di PT. XYZ dengan menggunakan komitmen pekerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Performa pekerja merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus terus ditingkatkan dalam suatu organisasi, dikarenakan pekerja dengan performa kerja yang baik akan dapat membuat organisasi tersebut terus maju dan dapat unggul dari kompetitornya. Dengan demikian performa kerja mendapatkan perhatian yang khusus untuk ditingkatkan dalam suatu organisasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 65 responden dengan pengolahan data menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) yang diolah dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 4 dan dengan teknik pemilihan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi, komitmen pekerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap performa kerja, desain kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap performa kerja, tetapi desain kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen pekerja, dan desain kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap performa kerja melalui komitmen pekerja.
 

The purpose of conducting this research is to examine how the influence exerted by organizational culture and work design has on the work performance of employees at PT. XYZ by using employees’ commitments as a mediating variable. Employees’ performances are some important factors that must be continuously improved in an organization, because workers with good work performance will be able to make the organization moving forward and be superior to their competitors. Thus work performance gets special attention to be improved in an organization. The sample in this study amounted to 65 respondents with data processing using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) which was processed with SmartPLS version 4 software and with a purposive sampling technique for selecting samples. The results of the study show that organizational culture, employees’ commitments have a positive and significant effect on work performance, work design does not have a significant effect on work performance, but work design has a positive and significant effect on worker’s commitments, and work design has a positive and significant effect on work performance through employee commitment.
