Hubungan pola asupan susu dan hasil olahan susu dengan tinggi badan pada anak kelas 4 SD Bunda Hati Kudus periode Februari 2014

Abstract


Susu dan produk hasil olahan susu merupakan pelengkap zat – zat gizi yang baik bagi tubuh manusia. Susu mengandung kalsium dengan bioavabilitas baik sehingga diperkirakan dapat membantu pertumbuhan tinggi pada anak usia sekolah. Studi ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional pada 88 responden yang terdiri atas 42 anak laki – laki dan 46 anak perempuan kelas 4 SD bertempat di Sekolah Bunda Hati Kudus dengan rentang usia 9 – 11 tahun. Hasil studi menunjukkan sebagian besar anak (86,36%) mengonsumsi susu minimal 1 gelas (±200ml) perhari dan hampir sebagian responden (46,59%) mengonsumsi hasil olahan susu minimal 1 kali sehari (±130 kkal). Hampir seluruh siswa mempunyai tinggi yang normal (93,18%) dan sebagian kecil termasuk ke dalam kategori pendek (6,82%). Kesimpulannya tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tinggi badan dengan jumlah asupan susu dan hasil olahan susu pada anak usia sekolah (p > 0,05).
