Hubungan antara aktifitas fisik dengan umur menarche

Abstract

Onset umur menarche telah mengalami penurunan pada abad terakhir di seluruh dunia. Studi menemukan bahwa aktifitas fisik memiliki pengaruh terhadap onset pubertas dan juga umur menarche. Umur menarche berkaitan dengan risiko terjadinya penyakit kanker payudara, obesitas dan juga DM tipe II. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktifitas fisik dengan menarche dini. Desain penelitian uji cross-sectional dilakukan pada siswi kelas 4, 5, 6 di SD Bonavita Tangerang dan SDN Kutabaru 1 Kabupaten Tangerang. Jumlah responden sebanyak 124 orang diambil dengan cara consecutive non-random sampling. Kuesioner yang telah tervalidasi yaitu Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) digunakan untuk mendapatkan data tentang aktifitas fisik responden. Dari 124 responden didapatkan mayoritas mengalami menarche dini (n=67; 54%), dan mayoritas melakukan aktivitas fisik sedang (n=69; 55,6%). Tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara terjadinya menarche dini dengan aktifitas fisik (RP 1,36; IK 95% 0,74-2,49 dengan nilai P=0,305). Tren umur menarche sebaiknya tetap dilakukan monitor karena menarche dini berhubungan dengan beberapa efek kesehatan yang merugikan.
