Gambaran penyakit arteri perifer pada warga obesitas di atas usia 50 tahun Kelurahan Jatirasa

Abstract

Obesitas merupakan suatu keadaan di mana terjadi akumulasi lemak berlebihan di tubuh. Akumulasi lemak berlebihan dapat terjadi pada arteri sehingga menyebabkan aterosklerosis. Penyakit arteri perifer (PAP) ditandai dengan adanya penyumbatan pada arteri yang umumnya disebabkan oleh aterosklerosis. Keadaan ini menimbulkan gangguan perfusi hingga kematian jaringan pada ekstremitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran warga obesitas berusia di atas 50 tahun yang mengalami PAP di wilayah Kelurahan Jatirasa, Kecamatan Jatiasih, Kota Bekasi pada Bulan Oktober-November 2022. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik consecutive sampling digunakan dalam pengambilan 72 subyek. Data identitas subyek dan anamnesis terkait kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara sedangkan data obesitas menggunakan pengukuran antropometri dan PAP menggunakan pengukuran ankle brachial index (ABI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata usia subyek adalah 58 tahun dengan mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan yaitu sebanyak 52 subyek (72,2%). Rerata IMT subyek sebesar 30,9 kg/m2 dan 16 (22,2%) subyek mengalami PAP. Pada penelitian ini, perempuan mengalami PAP lebih banyak dibandingkan laki-laki (28,8% vs 5%). Kelompok usia 61-65 tahun dibandingkan dengan kelompok usia lainnya (50-55 tahun 56-60 tahun, 66-70 tahun, dan 71-75 tahun) dan subyek dengan IMT ≥35 kg/m2 paling banyak mengalami PAP, masing-masing sebesar 41,7% dan 50%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah kejadian PAP meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya usia, peningkatan pada IMT atau berat badan. Jenis kelamin juga berpengaruh pada peningkatan kejadian PAP.
