Abstract

A covid-19 pandemic that has been going since the last 2 years has made startup companies and SME that haven’t prepared to face crisis such as this collapse. It happened because the lack of place that gives education for them. This pandemic also indirectly  require us to live along with it. Therefore, a new room configuration that can give safety and comfort for the users while goin to a public space is needed and on this case an office space. To get around this, so a ‘startup incubator’ is made with the reason to give hope for startup companies and SME in Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan. This study is using trans programming as it’s method to produce a design concept of a place for education which in this case a ‘startup incubator’. The design was done by using the habit and behaviour of millennial generation which the majority of them creates the startup companies and SME as reference. In the future, this place can be the place for the new companies to maximize their potential.

Abstrak


Pandemi covid-19 yang sudah melanda 2 tahun terakhir telah membuat perusahaan-perusahaan ‘startup’ maupun UMKM yang tidak siap menghadapi krisis seperti ini kolaps. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya wadah edukasi bagi pelaku usaha ‘startup’ maupun UMKM di kawasan Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan. Pandemi ini juga secara tidak langsung mengharuskan kita untuk hidup berdampingan dengan virus tersebut, karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah konfigurasi ruang baru yang mampu memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi pengguna ketika berada di ruang publik dalam hal ini bangunan kantor. Untuk menyiasati keadaan ini, maka dibuatlah sebuah ‘startup incubator’ yang memiliki tujuan utama untuk memberikan harapan bagi pelaku usaha ‘startup’ serta UMKM di kawasan Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan. Studi ini menggunakan metode trans-programming untuk menghasilkan sebuah konsep perancangan wadah edukatif yang berupa ‘startup incubator’. Perancangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan kebutuhan dan perilaku generasi Y atau milenial yang mayoritas merupakan pelaku usaha ‘startup’ sebagai acuan. Wadah ini kedepannya mampu menjadi sarana bagi perusahaan-perusahaan baru untuk memaksimalkan potensi mereka.
