Abstract

The role of a mother has a big influence in creating family happiness and prosperity. Most highly educated women are willing to leave office jobs and decide to become full-time mothers. However, as time went by, this full-time moms experienced parental burnout because of the new routine. Parental burnout is a fatigue syndrome caused by excessive chronic stress in carrying out one's role. This is caused by household work and childcare that are never completed in everyday life. As a result, full-time moms will feel physically and psychologically bored and exhausted. Resilience is resilience in facing challenges. Full-time moms who have resilience will be able to face parental burnout and achieve family well-being. Family well-being includes emotional and physical well-being within a family. The intervention in the form of a psychoeducational webinar with the theme "RESILIENCE: THE KEY TO FULL-TIME MOM SUCCESS" aims to open insight and provide knowledge to full-time moms who can have resilience in dealing with feelings of parental burnout and become strong mothers. Full-time moms will be equipped with the concept of self-resilience to increase resilience using the online webinar method via zoom media. The results of the difference test between pre-test and post-test scores show a high significant comparison, so it can be concluded that the psychoeducational webinar in Community Service is said to be effective because of the high percentage difference in the knowledge that participants have between before and after attending this webinar.


ABSTRAK


Peran seorang ibu sangat berpengaruh besar dalam menciptakan kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Sebagian besar wanita berpendidikan tinggi rela meninggalkan pekerjaan kantor dan mengambil keputusan menjadi ibu rumah tangga (IRT) penuh waktu. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, IRT penuh waktu ini mengalami parental burnout karena rutinitas yang baru. Parental burnout adalah sindrom kelelahan yang diakibatkan oleh stres kronis berlebihan dalam menjalankan peran. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pekerjaan rumah tangga dan pengasuhan anak yang tak kunjung selesai dalam keseharian. Akibatnya IRT penuh waktu akan merasakan kejenuhan serta kelelahan secara fisik dan psikologis. Resiliensi adalah daya lenting dalam menghadapi tantangan. IRT penuh waktu yang memiliki resiliensi maka akan dapat menghadapi parental burnout dan mencapai kesejahteraan keluarganya. Kesejahteraan keluarga mencakup kesejahteraan emosional dan fisik di dalam sebuah keluarga. Intervensi dalam bentuk webinar psikoedukasi dengan tema “RESILIENSI: KUNCI SUKSES FULL-TIME MOM” bertujuan untuk membuka wawasan dan memberikan bekal pengetahuan kepada IRT penuh waktu dapat memiliki resiliensi dalam menghadapi perasaan parental burnout dan menjadi ibu yang tangguh. IRT penuh waktu akan diperlengkapi dengan konsep resiliensi diri untuk meningkatkan daya lenting dengan metode webinar secara daring melalui media zoom. Hasil uji perbedaan terhadap skor pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan perbandingan yang signifikan tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa webinar psikoedukasi dalam Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dikatakan efektif karena perbedaan presentase yang tinggi tentang pengetahuan yang dimiliki peserta antara sebelum dan setelah mengikuti webinar ini.
