PENGENALAN PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN PROFESI ADVOKAT MENGHADAPI KEHADIRAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PADA SISWA SMAN 16 JAKARTA

Abstract

Current technological developments also encourage the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in various sectors of life, one of the sectors affected is the legal sector in Indonesia. The use of technology in the legal field is currently starting to develop, for example in the case of contract drafting, this is aimed at achieving efficiency and accuracy in drafting contracts. Apart from this, the presence of AI can also be used gradually in the daily work of advocates. However, the existence of AI is considered as two blades, a threat and an opportunity. The existence of AI in everyday life certainly needs to be further socialized to partners as advanced basic education institutions.The research method used in this socialization is the lecture method. The result of this socialization is to provide a comprehensive understanding to upper secondary school students regarding the advocate profession in society, that currently the advocate profession is the profession most in demand by law graduates, but not a few will also develop in the present and future. with the presence of AI. It was found that currently AI can help advocates in the field of contract law such as pre-legal consultations, drafting contracts. However, of course, it is felt that the presence of AI is not able to replace follow-up consultations, attendance at trials, and other things that are the specific duties of advocates. The conclusion is that the advocate profession assisted by artificial intelligence will create good things, which are future opportunities and challenges for law graduates in the future, so it needs to be addressed intelligently and wisely.

ABSTRAK

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini juga mendorong pendayagunaan artificial intelligence (AI) pada berbagai sektor dalam berkehidupan, salah satu sektor yang terdampak adalah sekotr hukum di Indonesia. Pemanfaatan teknologi di bidang hukum saat ini mulai berkembang sebagai contoh dalam hal pembuatan kontrak, hal ini ditujukan agar mendapatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pembuatan rancangan kontrak. Selain hal tersebut kehadiran AI juga dapat dipergunakan secara bertahap dalam pekerjaan advokat kesehariannya. Kendati demikian keberadaan AI dianggap sebagai dua mata pisau, ancaman dan peluang. Keberadaan AI dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tentunya perlu disosialisasikan lebih lanjut kepada mitra sebagai institusi pendidikan dasar lanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi ini adalah dengan metode ceramah. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini adalah memberikan pemahaman secara komprehensif kepada siswa sekolah menangah atas berkaitan dengan profesi advokat di masyarakat, bahwa saat ini profesi advokat merupakan profesi yang paling diminati oleh para lulusan hukum, akan tetapi tidak sedikit juga akan berkembang dimasa kini dan masa yang akan datang dengan kehadiran AI. Didapatkan bahwa saat ini AI dapat membantu advokat dalam bidang hukum kontrak seperti pra-konsultasi hukum, pembuatan draft kontrak. Akan tetapi tentunya lebih jauh, kehadiran AI ini dirasa belum mampu untuk menggantikan konsultasi lanjutan, kehadiran dalam persidangan, dan hal-hal lain yang menjadi tugas advokat secara khusus. Kesimpulan didapat bahwa profesi advokat dibantu dengan artificial intelligence akan menimbulkan hal-hal baik itu merupakan peluang dan tantangan kedepannya bagi lulusan hukum di masa yang akan datang, sehingga perlu disikapi secara cerdas dan bijak
