Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance knowledge, understanding, and inspiration among the members of ASAK St. Bernadet, Pinang. ASAK members are students who receive scholarships from the church. As students, they require information to assist them in preparing for their careers. Students face difficulties in obtaining career preparation information, and some students who are already employed also struggle in the workplace, such as experiencing a mismatch between their career and field of study, lacking information about the required soft and hard skills for specific job positions, and more. Therefore, we are organizing a seminar to address the needs of students in better preparing themselves for their careers. Career readiness will be discussed through topics such as achieving job satisfaction and becoming good organizational citizens (OCB). This activity aims to provide an overview and knowledge of career readiness and ultimately enable participants to apply their knowledge when they enter the workforce in the future. The results of the conducted seminar show that 47% of participants gained better knowledge on the seminar topics. Additionally, 76% expressed satisfaction with the seminar, and 84% stated that they acquired valuable new information that can be applied in their future workplaces. The outcomes of this activity will include intellectual property rights recognition, publication in journals, and articles published in mass media.
