PSIKOEDUKASI MEMBANGUN SIKAP ADIL DALAM MASYARAKAT PERKOTAAN WARGA CAROLUS BOROMEUS CENGKARENG

Abstrak

The situation of urban communities in DKI Jakarta is ironic. On the one hand, the city of Jakarta is often identified with progress and prosperity because there are so many skyscrapers, where the determinants of the national economy have offices. But on the other hand, in a corner of the city, it is not difficult to find a group of poor people with very simple living conditions. Poor people in urban areas occur due to various reasons such as narrow opportunities to get jobs, increasingly fierce economic competition, prices of basic necessities that continue to rise as a result of rising fuel prices, making their lives more difficult, because spending increases while income does not increase or even decreases. . The situation of the poor in urban areas is increasing because it is increasingly difficult to get a job. Difficulty getting a job makes them unemployed. Various assistance programs from the government are not always on target, due to the inaccuracy of data from RT or RW, so that groups of people who should receive assistance do not get their rights. Sometimes there is unfair treatment from officials distributing aid to the poor from the government. Residents of the Carolus Boromeus Cengkareng Timur neighborhood in West Jakarta are part of the capital city's society which cannot be separated from problems of poverty and injustice. PKM is in the form of psychoeducation for 30 residents of the Carolus Boromeus neighborhood regarding building a fair attitude in everyday life. The aim is to encourage and motivate residents of the Carolus Boromeus neighborhood to build a just attitude in everyday life in the form of simple behavior through fair behavior that starts with oneself, family, local residents and the community.   

Situasi masyarakat perkotaan di DKI Jakarta sungguh ironis. Di satu sisi kota Jakarta kerap diidentikkan dengan kemajuan dan kemakmuran karena terdapat begitu banyak gedung pencakar langit, tempat para penentu ekonomi nasional berkantor. Namun di sisi lain di sudut kota tidak sulit menemukan sekelompok masyarakat miskin dengan kondisi pemukiman yang sangat sederhana. Masyarakat miskin di perkotaan terjadi disebabkan oleh bermacam alasan seperti sempitnya peluang untuk memperoleh pekerjaan, persaingan ekonomi yang makin ketat, harga kebutuhan pokok yang terus naik sebagai akibat kenaikan bahan bakar, membuat kehidupan mereka makin sulit, karena pengeluaran bertambah sementara penghasilan tidak bertambah atau malah berkurang. Situasi masyarakat miskin di perkotaan makin bertambah karena semakin sulitnya memperoleh pekerjaan. Kesulitan mendapat pekerjaan membuat mereka menganggur. Berbagai program bantuan dari permerintah tidak selalu tepat sasaran, karena kekurangakuratan data dari RT atau RW, sehingga kelompok masyarakt yang seharusnya mendapat bantuan tidak memperoleh haknya. Kadang ada perlakuan kurang adil dari para petugas pembagi bantuan rakyat miskin dari pemerintah. Warga lingkungan Carolus Boromeus Cengkareng Timur di Jakarta Barat merupakan bagian dari masyarakat ibu kota yang tidak lepas dari persoalan kemiskinan  dan ketidakadilan. PKM berupa psikoedukasi bagi 30 orang warga lingkungan Carolus Boromeus mengenai membangun sikap adil dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendorong dan memotivasi para warga lingkungan Carolus Boromeus untuk membangun sikap adil dalam hidup sehari-hari dalam bentuk perilaku yang sederhana melalui perilaku adil yang dimulai dari diri sendiri, keluarga, warga sekitar dan masyarakat.
