Abstract


(Planning The Evacuation Building In Area Prone To Earthquake And Stunami) Indonesian is a country that is surrounded by tectonic faults. Tectonic faults and volcanoes are still active in providing information that some regions in Indonesia is a region prone to earthquakes and tsunami. The buildings in Indonesia are located on the coast it is possible to tsunami affected. After the earthquake and tsunami, much needed building is still strong to be made in evacuation location so we need a plan of the building is still strong after the earthquake and tsunami. The planned building is located in the area of Bali with this type of structure is a steel structure with concentric bracing. The method used in the planning of seismic load is equivalent static method and the response spectrum method and then check the story drift to qualify, because the stiffness of the first floor which is weaker than its upper floors. The results of this study are evacuation building using concentric bracing to minimize inter-story drift. The building design produces the following profile: exterior beam using IWF 500x200, interior beams using IWF 400x200, exsterior columns and interior use Hs 16 x 0.5 and bresing use Hs 9.625x0.5
