PENENTUAN JADWAL PENGGERINDAAN PADA MATA PAHAT MESIN GILING DAN PENGGANTIAN MATA GERINDA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Abstract

CV. KAP is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of grinding plastic pellets and plastic pellets . CV.KAP experiencing congestion problems in high intensity milling machine due to lack of maintenance actions for the machine. Milling machine owned by CV.KAP have six crushing machine with the same characteristics (brand and size ) . dull is caused by a crushing machine chisel eye on the crushing machine for continuous use. CV.KAP has a way of handling it is by means of grinding on the eye prior to the replacement chisel eye at the end of its useful life . Therefore, research should be conducted to determine when the grinding process on each of the milling machine using a calculation Preventive Maintenance . Then to maintain smooth the process for each eye chisel grinding rollers are done also determine when to do the replacement eyes for each grinding machine grinding using Preventive Replacement calculations. Schedule of preventive maintenance for crushing machine every four days and schedule for replacement preventive every 33 days. Benefit if use the preventive maintenance is Rp 153.070 monthly.
