EVALUASI DAMPAK GETARAN TANAH AKIBAT PEKERJAAN FONDASI TIANG BOR TERHADAP BANGUNAN CAGAR BUDAYA
Main Article Content
Abstract
Bored pile penetration in construction projects in densely populated areas needs to be considered because it has the potential to cause vibrations that can be transmitted to surrounding buildings. The intensity of the vibration decreases with increasing distance from the vibration source. Mitigation of the risk of structural failure is assessed using vibration intensity, commonly called Peak Particle Velocity (PPV). The PPV value must not exceed the value set by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), hoping not to damage surrounding buildings. This study analyzes the PPV value due to bored pile penetration in a 7-story building project in Yogyakarta, against the nearest cultural heritage building, empirically. The PPV value is compared to the limit value set by SNI 7571:2010 to determine the vibration influence zone and its mitigation. Deformation of the soil caused by vibrations during bored pile penetration is also calculated for a certain distance from the vibration source. The results of the study showed that ground vibrations due to bored pile foundation work that is safe according to SNI are at a minimum distance of 44.70 meters from the vibration center if using a bored pile rotary speed of 8 rpm/minute, and a minimum distance of 95 meters from the vibration center if using a bored pile rotary speed of 36 rpm/minute. Within this distance, the capacity of the drilling machine used is too large for this project because it produces a PPV greater than the standard set by SNI and can damage nearby cultural heritage. The analysis shows that ground deformation caused by vibrations does not significantly impact surrounding structures.
