Abstract

Keselamatan transportasi merupakan aspek krusial dalam operasional bus penumpang, terutama pada rute antar pulau yang sering kali melibatkan perjalanan jarak jauh dan kondisi jalan yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh beberapa variabel keselamatan terhadap pelanggaran keselamatan yang dilakukan oleh pengemudi bus penumpang pada rute antar pulau di Propinsi NTB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei menggunakan kuesioner kepada pengemudi bus penumpang. Responden diambil dari pengemudi jurusan Bima-Mataram sebanyak 115 pengemudi. Adapun komposisi dari responden tersebut yaitu semua pengemudi bus adalah laki-laki 60% lulusan setingkat SMA, SMP 22%, dan lulusan SD 16% serta sarjana 2%. Data kuisuiner yang diperoleh diolah untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel dengan menggunakan software PLS-SEM. Hasil analisis hipotesis yang didapat bahwa (1). Iklim keselamatan mempengaruhi Pelanggaran keselamatan dan perilaku keselamatan; (2).Terdapat hubungan kesadaran keselamatan dengan pelanggaran keselamatan; (3). Kepemimpinan mempengaruhi perilaku keselamatan dan partisipasi keselamatan; (4). Perilaku keselamatan mempengaruhi kesadaran keselamatan dan partisipasi keselamatan; (5). Iklim keselamatan berpengaruh terhadap budaya keselamatan; (6). Kepemimpinan mempengaruhi budaya keselamatan.
