PENERAPAN AUDIT KESELAMATAN JALAN DAN METODE HIRARC UNTUK PENANGANAN LOKASI RAWAN KECELAKAAN

Abstract
Traffic accidents can occur due to unsafe road infrastructure. It is because deficiencies in road infrastructure create the potential for traffic accidents. Jalan Captain Piere Tendean in Ambon City which was included in the category of accident-prone areas. This research aims to determine potential risk of road hazard and suggestions for improvements. AKJ was used to identify and describe potential road infrastructure hazards, then the HIRARC method was used to assess the magnitude of the risk of potential hazards and provide suggestions for handling these potential hazards. The results of the analysis showed that the risk of potential hazard on the Captain Piere Tendean road section of those that was considered high risk are trees and plants on the side of the road, visibility at intersections and road lighting. Apart from that, intersection alignments, pedestrians, parking, traffic signs and edge drainage was included in the medium risk category. Meanwhile, markings, safety fences and road surface damage were included in the low risk. Improving safety on Jalan Captain Piere Tendean will be done by addressing or improving the safety problems identified above. Treatment should be prioritized for problems with high, medium, and low risks respectively.
Abstrak
Kecelakaan lalu lintas dapat terjadi karena infrastruktur jalan yang tidak berkeselamatan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena defisiensi infrastruktur jalan menimbulkan potensi terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. Ruas Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean, Kota Ambon termasuk dalam kategori daerah rawan kecelakaan. AKJ digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan potensi bahaya infrastruktur jalan kemudian metode HIRARC digunakan untuk menilai besar risiko potensi bahaya dan memberikan saran penanganan potensi bahaya tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa risiko potensi bahaya pada ruas jalan Kapten Piere Tendean dari yang termasuk risiko tinggi adalah pohon dan tanaman sisi jalan, jarak pandang pada simpang dan penerangan jalan. Selain itu, alinyemen simpang, pejalan kaki, parkir, rambu lalu lintas, dan drainase tepi termasuk dalam kategori risiko sedang. Sedangkan marka, pagar pengaman dan kerusakan permukaan jalan termasuk dalam risiko rendah. Peningkatan keselamatan pada ruas Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean dapat dilakukan dengan penanganan atau perbaikan terhadap permasalahan keselamatan yang telah diidentifikasi di atas. Penanganan sebaiknya diprioritaskan untuk permasalahan dengan risiko tinggi, sedang, dan rendah secara berturut-turut.
