ANALISIS PENGARUH INTERPERSONAL SKILL DAN PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KEPEMIMPINAN DI PT WASKITA BETON PRECAST

Abstract

Leadership is a very crucial factor in an organization’s system. The character and thinking patterns of one intelligence can also be called Emotional Intelligence in this case interpersonal skills possessed by the leader can influence the decision-making steps in problem-solving that underlie the behavior of a leader. Research variables include interpersonal skill (X1) and problem-solving (X2) as independent variables and leadership (Y) as dependent variables. The research method used descriptive with parametric analysis. This study aimed to determine the influence between interpersonal skills and problem-solving on leadership. This research was conducted at PT Waskita Beton Precast. This study’s research sample consisted of permanent employees including staff and managers. The purpose of this study demonstrates a considerable positive relationship between interpersonal skills and problem-solving against the leadership in PT Waskita Beton Precast. This research shows that the better the interpersonal skills and problem-solving possessed by a leader, the better the leadership will be. Based on the research results, leadership requires good interpersonal attitudes and the ability to solve problems to facilitate decision-making to achieve the desired goal.


Abstrak


Kepemimpinan adalah faktor yang sangat krusial pada suatu sistem organisasi. Sikap dari seorang pemimpin mampu memengaruhi berjalannya alur suatu pekerjaan dari awal hingga akhir. Sifat dan pola pikir pada suatu kecerdasan dapat disebut juga sebagai Emotional Intelligence dalam hal ini yaitu interpersonal skill yang dimiliki oleh pemimpin dapat mempengaruhi dalam langkah pengambilan keputusan dalam problem solving yang mendasari perilaku seorang pemimpin. Variabel pengaruh dalam penelitian ini yakni interpersonal skill (X1) dan problem-solving (X2) terhadap variabel dependen yaitu kepemimpinan (Y). Metode penelitian yang diterapkan yaitu deskriptif dengan analisis parametrik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh antara interpersonal skill dan problem solving terhadap kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kantor PT Waskita Beton Precast Kota Jakarta Timur Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Hasil analisis eksplorasi menunjukan bahwa tampak hubungan positif yang relevan antara interpersonal skill dan problem solving terhadap kepemimpinan di PT Waskita Beton Precast. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik interpersonal skill dan problem solving yang dipunyai oleh atasan maka akan semakin baik pula suatu kepemimpinan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dalam suatu kepemimpinan diperlukan sikap interpersonal yang baik serta kemampuan dalam problem solving guna mempermudah pengambilan keputusan dalam rangka mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan.
