KORELASI HASIL PENGUJIAN NILAI CBR DAN NILAI DCP PADA TINGKAT PLASTICITY INDEX TERTENTU

Abstract

Many factors affect the bearing strength of the subgrade so this test is carried out using various methods depending on conditions and needs in the field. One way to determine the bearing capacity of the subgrade is by knowing the value of the California Bearing Ratio. Dynamic Cone Penetrometer is a test tool used in road pavement projects that require fast results for a relatively large number of test points. In this paper, the author will analyze the accuracy of the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer when it is correlated with testing using the standard California Bearing Ratio test method when used in determining the bearing capacity of the subgrade for building projects according to different Plasticity Index values. The analysis carried out in this study includes the comparison of some data for comparison and the measurement value after which it is plotted into a graph to determine the range of values. The final result of testing the two of plasticity index measuring instruments at a level of 5 to 30 percent, the CBR value is in the range of 4 to 24 percent and the DCP is in the basic range of 2 to 20 mm/hit.

Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kuat dukung tanah dasar sehingga pengujian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode yang bervariasi juga tergantung kondisi dan kebutuhan di lapangan. Salah satu cara menentukan besar daya dukung tanah dasar yaitu dengen mengetahui besar nilai California Bearing Ratio. Dynamic Cone Penetrometer merupakan salah satu alat uji yang digunakan pada proyek perkerasan jalan yang membutuhkan hasil yang cepat untuk jumlah titik uji yang yang relatif banyak. Dalam tulisan ini penulis akan menganalisis keakuratan alat Dynamic Cone Penetrometer apabila dikorelasikan dengan pengujian menggunakan metode standar pengujian California Bearing Ratio lapangan ketika digunakan dalam menentukan besar daya dukung tanah dasar kebutuhan proyek bangunan menurut nilai Plasticity Index berbeda. Analisis yang dilakukan dlam penelitian ini antara lain membandingkan sejumlah data untuk menjadi komparasi dan nilai ukur setelah itu di plot kedalam grafik untuk mengetahui rentng nilainya. Hasil akhir dari pengujian kedua alat ukur tanah dasar pada tingkat plasticity index 5 sampai 30 persen maka nilai CBR berada pada rentang 4 sampai  24 persen dan DCP berada pada rentang 2 sampai 20 mm/pukulan.
