EFEKTIVITAS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY TERHADAP SELF-ESTEEM ANAK DAN REMAJA: SEBUAH SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract

Tujuan utama review ini adalah untuk mengkaji efektivitas cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) dan self-esteem pada anak dan remaja. Self-esteem merupakan aspek penting dari kehidupan seorang individu dan memiliki konsekuensi jangka panjang di masa depan penting untuk dikembangkan dengan baik. Sehingga, diperlukan intervensi yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan self-esteem pada anak dan remaja yang memiliki self-esteem rendah. Self-esteem memiliki basis kognitif, sehingga diprediksikan dapat meningkat dengan penggunaan CBT yang bertujuan untuk merubah pikiran dan perilaku partisipan. Literature review dilakukan dengan menelusuri 7 database dan penerbit artikel elektronik yang dapat diakses secara online, yang menghasilkan 21 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi yang ditetapkan. 16 artikel melaporkan peningkatan self-esteem dengan menggunakan intervensi CBT. Sehingga hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa CBT efektif untuk meningkatkan self-esteem anak dan remaja. Penelitian yang lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk memperkuat hasil temuan ini dan mencari lebih lanjut efektivitas CBT terhadap self-esteem bagi anak dan remaja.
