PERANAN KESEPIAN TERHADAP KEKERASAN SIBER PADA REMAJA PEREMPUAN YANG AKTIF MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA SOSIAL

Abstract
Kekerasan siber dalam media sosial pada kalangan remaja menjadi fenomena yang serius dan perlu diperhatikan. Berbagai kasus kekerasan siber merupakan masalah kesehatan dalam masyarakat yang terus meningkat. Kesepian memiliki peran dalam terjadinya kekerasan siber di kalangan remaja perempuan yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Hasil penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa kesepian dapat menjadi faktor resiko terjadinya kekerasan siber. Kekerasan siber merupakan penyerangan terhadap kesejahteraan fisik, psikologis dan emosional individu maupun kelompok. Kesepian adalah kondisi negatif yang dialami individu dan mempengaruhi kesehatan mental maupun fisik. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji peranan kesepian terhadap kekerasan siber pada remaja perempuan yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional non-eksperimental. Teknik analisis data penelitian berdasarkan regresi. Partisipan penelitian merupakan 200 remaja perempuan berusia 17-24 tahun, aktif menggunakan media sosial dan pernah menjadi korban kekerasan siber selama kurang dari satu tahun. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Loneliness scale yang terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan dan Experiencing cyber violence scale yang terdiri dari 34 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kesepian dan kekerasan siber. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi edukasi untuk remaja perempuan korban kekerasan siber maupun masyarakat dalam menggunakan media sosial agar terhindar dari kekerasan siber.
