GAMBARAN KESEPIAN DI TEMPAT KERJA YANG DIRASAKAN PADA KARYAWAN DI DKI JAKARTA

Abstract

Dalam dunia pekerjaan, sangat penting bagi setiap orang untuk dapat bersosialisasi dan menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan rekan kerjanya di tempat kerja, tetapi beberapa orang tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk bersosialisasi dan merasa nyaman di lingkungan kerja mereka. Hal ini menjadi salah satu masalah bagi subyek karena mereka dapat merasa kesepian saat berada di tempat kerja. Kesepian merupakan keadaan dimana hubungan sosial yang dimiliki seseorang tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkannya. Studi telah menunjukkan bahwa kesepian di tempat kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat berdampak terhadap kualitas kinerja karyawan, sehingga hal tersebut menjadi alasan terlaksananya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur LAWS (Loneliness At Workplace Scale). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kesepian di tempat kerja pada karyawan di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode pengambilan sampel convenience sampling, dimana peneliti mengambil sampel penelitian dari kumpulan responden yang tersedia secara acak dan mudah dijangkau dengan total sebanyak 154 partisipan. Karakteristik partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan tetap yang sudah bekerja selama 1 tahun, domisili DKI Jakarta dengan usia 20-45 tahun. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil analisis deskriptif gambaran kesepian di tempat kerja pada karyawan di DKI Jakarta memiliki nilai mean sebesar 2,12 yang mengartikan rendahnya tingkat kesepian di tempat kerja pada karyawan di DKI Jakarta.
