KONTROL DIRI SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR KEPUASAN HIDUP MAHASISWA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract
Selama masa pandemi, memberikan pengaruh pada aspek-aspek kehidupan masyarakat, terutama pada pendidikan. Proses pembelajaran yang awalnya dilakukan secara offline sekarang dilakukan secara online. Hal ini pun memberikan dampak pada kepuasan hidup mahasiswa. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, masyarakat China dan Amerika telah menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif pada kontrol diri dan kepuasan hidup (Li et al., 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap kepuasan hidup mahasiswa selama masa pandemi. Oleh karena itu, untuk mendukung penelitian ini, penulis memperoleh partisipan penelitian sebanyak 431 mahasiswa/i yang berusia antara 18 – 25 tahun. Selanjutnya, peneliti menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan jenis sampel yaitu convenience sampling untuk mencari partisipan. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu Brief Self - Control Scale yang telah diadaptasikan versi Indonesia oleh Arifin dan Milla (2020) dan Satisfaction with Life Scale. Melalui uji regresi linear, telah dibuktikan bahwa kontrol diri memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan hidup mahasiswa selama masa pandemi (F= 8.683, t=2.947, p < 0.05), yang berarti individu yang memiliki kontrol diri yang tinggi, maka memiliki kepuasan hidup yang tinggi.
