The engine in this generator was 4 strokes engine, single cylinder of 4 stroke spark ignition engine with cylinder volume of 420 cc that can be operated fully with biogas and if biogas is not available, the engine can also be run by using gasoline with an easy switch mechanism. The method developed in this research was different from the idea of dual-fuel which was the fuel was mixed. Two types of Biogas are prepared in this research, type 1 biogas was purified from H2S and H2O, and type 2 of biogas was purified from CO2, H2S, and H2O. The gasoline type that was used in this work was the pertalite with a research octane number (RON) was 90. The engine was run with no load (idle position) and with a load 250 watts and the effect on emission and fuel consumption were recorded and analyzed. The result indicates that the average fuel consumption of using biogas type 1 is about 44.24 L/Minute in idle position and increases to become 45.35 L/minute with load 250 watts. For biogas type 2 the fuel consumption is found about lower, that is 43.76 L/Minute in idling position and increase to reach 45.04 L/minute for with load 250 watts. It is noted here that by using gasoline the fuel consumption is 0,023 L/ Minutes in idle position and a little bit increase to become 0.024 L/minute for 250-watt load. The CO emission is found at 3.91 % vol. for gasoline engine in idle position and reduce a little bit to become 3.5 % vol. with load 250 watts. The emission is found excellent if biogas is used as a fuel comparing gasoline. For biogas type 1, the CO emission is found 0.06 % vol. in idle position and just a bit increase to become 0.07 % vol. if loaded at 250 watts. The best performance is found for biogas type 2 that the CO emission is found 0.04% vol. and still in this value at loading 250 watts.
Gede Artha Negara Tjokorda Gde Tirta Nindhia Wayan Bandem Adnyana Gusti Ngurah Putu Tenaya Ketut Astawa Tjokorda Sari Nindhia Shaildendra Kumar Shukla Amit Jhalani Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 373 378 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.373-378 Application for New Student Admission at SMKS Al-Akhyar II Jakarta with C4.5 Algorithm https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29389
Al-Akhyar II Jakarta Vocational High School (Smk) is a school that has been accredited with A superior. Kresna Hotel Wonosobo is an old hotel located in Wonosobo city. Founded in 1917 under the name Grand Hotel Dieng and run by a Dutchman named JW Muthert. In modern times like today, many hotels have collaborated with Online Travel Agents (OTA). This is because OTA can help hotels on the marketing side in a wider scope. Kresna Hotel Wonosobo has collaborated with OTA since 2016. But so far, there has never been an application that can assist the hotel in evaluating, monitoring and assessing OTA activities. So the creation of a dashboard to evaluate, monitor, and assess OTA activities at Kresna Hotel Wonosobo is needed. The dashboard is made using the System Development Life Cycle (SLDC) waterfall model and the data processing process uses the nine step design method. This dashboard is focused on three OTAs, namely Traveloka, AGODA, and Tiket.com. The dashboard has succeeded in displaying all the data needed on the target Key Performance Indicators provided by the hotel. By creating a dashboard and adding a web admin, it is hoped that Kresna Hotel Wonosobo can continue to use it for OTA monitoring in the future.
Dhewa Gunawan Putra Dedi Trisnawarman Zyad Rusdi Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 387 395 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.387-395 HEALTHY FOOD MENU RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM AT INDONESIAN GORRY GOURMET COMPANY USING ELECTRE METHOD (ELIMINATION ET CHOIX TRAUDISANT LA REALITE) https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29526
One way to maintain a healthy lifestyle is to consume balanced food intake with proper nutrition and diet. In vitro mutagenesis using gamma irradiation has the potential to produce superior patchouli plants. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of gamma irradiation on callus growth and shoot formation on patchouli callus. Calli were gamma-irradiated at doses of 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 75 Gy, then cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with the addition of 0.1 mg.L-1 NAA and 0.3 mg.L-1 BA for four weeks. The results showed that gamma irradiation inhibited callus growth and shoot formation. Gamma irradiation increased the percentage of explant browning and decreased explant survival, explant formation of shoots, the total number of shoots, number of shoots/explants, fresh weight of callus and shoots, growth index, and growth rate. The higher the dose of gamma irradiation, the smaller the percentage of explant survival and the lower the ability to form shoots with an average number of shoots formed less. The percentage of explants that survived on callus without irradiation and at a low dose of 15 Gy reached 100%, with an average number of shoots formed between 4.34-5.63 shoots/explant. Meanwhile, the percentage of explants that survived at high doses of 60-75 Gy was 76-82%, with an average number of shoots formed about two shoots/explant. The lethal dose (LD20) for explant survival was 67.98 Gy.
Rut Normasari Estri Laras Arumingtyas Rurini Retnowati Wahyu Widoretno Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 549 555 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.549-555 Web Based Escape Room Game “La Cosa Nostra” Using WebGL https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29402
"La Cosa Nostra" is a two-dimensional website-based escape room game that can be accessed using

internet browser. Empirical validation of the daylight simulation tool is essential in determining its reliability, especially in simulating light transport and shading system in the Tropics. Distinct from previous research, the validation involves Horizontal Light Pipe (HLP), a side window with shading systems in different room aspect ratios and orientations. This study aims to validate the simulation results of Integrated Environmental Solutions-Virtual Environment (IES-VE) Radiance IES with the measurement results of physical scaled models for evaluating HLP, light shelves, and blinds' daylight performance under intermediate and overcast sky conditions. Two physical scaled models 1:10 represent office rooms with HLP and shading systems with different room aspect ratios were constructed. Daylight Factor (DF) and Daylight Ratio (DF) of physical scaled model measurement and IES-VE simulation were compared. The results showed that under intermediate and overcast sky conditions, the Pearson correlation between simulation and measurement results using DR and DF was strong, significant, and positive, as high as 0.84 and 0.80, respectively. The Mean Bias Error between simulation and measurement results under intermediate and overcast sky conditions were -12% and -7.7%, respectively. IES-VE is reliable to evaluate the HLP and shading systems' daylight performance with different room orientations in the Tropics.
Feny Elsiana Sri Nastiti N Ekasiwi IGN Antaryama Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 573 582 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.573-582 Capacity Analysis of Variation Emulative Precast Beam-Column Joints with Finite Element Method https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29550
The construction of multistory buildings is currently increasing rapidly. Optimal construction methods are needed particularly in the construction of high-rise buildings. In precast systems, the element components and planning affect the structural performance and overall design. Beam-column joint capacity and performance of a plastic hinge relocation method needs to be tested. Testing of the cruciform beam-column joint was carried out using the nonlinear finite element method and compared with the results of laboratory test data. There are 8 beam-column joint models with 2 of them not using plastic hinge relocation method. The results of beam-column joint capacity analysis from manual and finite element methods at yield condition generally give smaller values with a difference of 0,17% - 8,32% than the reference data. While at the ultimate condition, the beam-column joint capacity of the finite element analysis produces a greater value with a difference of 0,52% - 13,83%. One of them is to increase reserves from existing fields. So far, abundant oil production is still sourced from old or brownfields. This makes many oil companies still make efforts to increase their production on the brownfields. One of these efforts is implementing Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), intending to maximize recovery (RF) from the oil field. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) can be categorized as a tertiary production stage to obtain oil in various types of reservoirs, especially heavy oil reservoirs. Around 60% of the world's oil reserves are in carbonate reservoirs, and the rest is sandstone and other lithologies. Therefore, it is crucial to know the characteristics of the reservoir to support the success of the EOR carried out. The stages of tertiary oil production are mainly carried out by chemical means. One widely used method in the field is surfactant injection or surfactant flooding. Surfactant flooding is an EOR method by injecting a surfactant-brine solution into a reservoir filled with oil that the previous step cannot wash away. Of course, surfactant injection carried out in both types of reservoirs will give different results considering the characteristics of each rock. The parameters examined were surfactant adsorption ability by both rocks, alteration of wettability after surfactant was injected, and recovery factor after injection. It was found that the surfactant adsorption on sandstone was low compared to carbonate rock; the wettability alteration was also more effective on sandstone compared to carbonate rock. So that from these two parameters, a higher recovery factor value is obtained in sandstone than carbonate rock reservoir.
Rini Setiati Gabriella Jasmine Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 602 611 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.602-611 The Effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Big Data Artificial Intelligence https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29459
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed people's behavior. So that the secret message can only be read and understood by certain parties, a way is needed to hide the message, namely with steganography. Steganography is a technique to hide messages in media such as text, images, audio and video so that the media that is inserted looks like normal. Bit-Plane Complexity Segmentation (BPCS) is a steganographic method used in message embedding. This method has a large message insertion capacity. The insertion is done by replacing the complex bit-pane with a secret message block. In this final project, a software is developed that applies the steganography method with the BPCS method on uncompressed images. In addition, tests were conducted to analyze the suitability of the BPCS method on uncompressed images. The final result obtained is a software capable of handling message insertion. The movement of wind in air is freely

exposed to obstacles such as buildings, especially in large cities. Buildings that are exposed to wind create

pressure for building which can be compressive or suction. In this study, wind pressure analysis was used in

three ways, that is with MIDAS GEN software, Autodesk CFD, and with manual calculation analysis

referring to Indonesia National Standard (SNI) 1727:2020. The building modeling used as test is main

building of UNTAR campus 1 with total height 89 m. The tested wind direction moved from south to north

and from west to east at a wind speed 32 m/s. The results of analysis showed that percentage of wind

pressure results between MIDAS GEN with manuals was at least 5.66% for both wind directions and

between CFD and manuals at least 0.7% for wind directions from south to north. The results from CFD also

show that result the main building surface wind pressure for wind flows moving from south to north results in

wind load in the edge area building smaller than in the central area building. The amount of wind pressure in

center of surface can be 4 to 5 times greater than wind pressure at the edge of surface.
Vincent Sunarjo Leman Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 723 730 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.723-730 2D Web-Based Battle Game "MONSTER BEATer" With Rhythm-Base Combat System https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29436
“Monster BEATer” is a rhythm genre game with 2D graphics developed for the Web. Where in the activity, aninformant needs to be can serve academic and non-academic information needs for para parents of students and other parties. Chatbot is one of the means to overcome these needs by presentingfeatures that allows for someone to ask when and where. Therefore, in the conclusion that chatbot can be a public means especially on schools - schools that can implement their uses as one school information sources other than the school's business. This Chatbot made using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method or can be briefed MKNN. MKNN is the latest version of the previous method, K-Nearest Neighbor where in the application MKNN method does the process additional after Euclidean Distance calculation, Weight Voting. Premise from the weight voting method itself is the biggestweight calculation, so chatbot will calculate the value of the shortest distance to the database from the chatbot then after completion, the chatbot will calculate the value weight or information from that distance so that the results that can be from this are the shortestdistance to the data class that is being addressed by carrying the weight of information biggest or most. This is used to facilitate the deep chatbot determine the category of a database so that it can provide answers that more certain and accurate.
Natanael Viny Christanti Mawardi Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 755 769 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.755-769 Blockchain Technology Implementation on Simple Microcontroller Based Ballots System https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29469
Ballots security and reliability is two of the crucial things that makes digital based ballots system not widely implemented. Paper-based ballots have the downsides of environmental impact on making paper. Blockchain has one of the advantages on the security aspect where the blocks are secured using cryptographic protocol that makes it hard to be hacked. This paper will be examining the possibility of ballots implementation using a microcontroller-based ballots system. The microcontroller is used because it is cheap to implement and it has the capability to sign the blockchain transaction. This paper is a proof of concept for a smaller scale ballots system for a small organization with two candidate option. The blockchain network used in this paper is a Ethereum test network provided by Ropsten. The number of testing done is 60 times total for the two candidate. The smaller scale testing proven to be successful with the transaction confirmed successful in etherscan.io.
Wiryo Tanjung Joni Fat Hugeng Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 770 777 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.770-777 Resource Leveling using Two-Stage Scheduling Model for a Highway Construction Project at Jakarta https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29558
Project scheduling relates to series of activities that can have dependencies on each other during implementation. Each series of activities can cause problems from planning resource such as labor, costs, time, and heavy equipment to project implementation. The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the two-stage scheduling optimization method for resource leveling, create a workforce histogram, and print the results of optimization resource scheduling in the form of LSM (Linear Scheduling Method) diagram. The existence of resource leveling is expected to avoid the problem of sudden resource needs or excessive resource accumulation. The biggest challenge in doing resource leveling is the increasing project duration. The two-stage scheduling optimization model has characteristics of CSP (Constraint Satisfaction Problem) so it will avoid increasing project duration. This optimization model will be carried out twice, assisted by using Microsoft Excel software with add-ins solver. The first stage will optimize the entire activities while the second stage will optimize the segment of non-controlling activities based on the CAP (Controlling Activity Path) that was formed during the first stage. The object of research used is a highway construction project at Jakarta. The results showed a new schedule with lower resource fluctuations.
Rius Wintan Onnyxiforus Gondokusumo Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 778 797 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.778-797 Application of Materials for Laundry Room Needs in Residential Houses https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29460
In residential needs, the laundry room has an essential role, because washing and drying activities cannot be separated from household chores. The modern interior design concept of a laundry room aims to get a comfortable atmosphere for user needs. The interior atmosphere can be formed through the basic design elements consisting of lines, shapes, fields (color and texture), and light spaces. Interior room elements are formed by several two-dimensional fields, namely floors, walls, ceilings and door and window.

In interior design, a project must be described broadly from the selection of floor, wall and ceiling materials, to cabinet furniture upholstery and other materials used to meet the functional, durability and aesthetic requirements of the room.

These materials are often chosen based on aesthetic quality and price with many choices, and the durability of interior finishing is also a major consideration for interior designers. Floors, walls and ceilings must be durable, i.e. able to withstand wear, pressure, and damage, both structurally and in terms of quality, as well as wooden tables and joints, which must be able to withstand wear and tear tests and time.
Gracia Wijaya Ferdinand Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 798 806 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.798-806 Mobile Application Development For Measurement Of Learning Outcomes Students Using The Decision Tree Algorithm https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29466
During college, students tend to be confused in determining the Program Learning Outcome(PLO) they have completed. In this case, the SKLU application is an application that aims to determine the PLO graduation that has been taken by Android-based students. This application is used to help users as self-reflection or self-measurement so that they can be better in the future. With the C4.5 Method to form a Decision Tree and by determining the level of accuracy through the available datasets, it is concluded that the accuracy rate is approximately 96% in the SKLU application. The data collected is based on the value from FTI Untar directly, so that it gets definite data. The more data collected, the results produced by the application will be more accurate and better, the results produced by the application are still less accurate because of the small number of datasets collected.
Taddo Tamiko Bagus Mulyawan Manatap Dolok Lauro Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 807 819 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.807-819 Encryption of Audio File Using AES and Blowfish Algorithms https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29468
Cloud storage has a role to boldly store data so that it can be accessed by various users. The amount of data stored, causes this data to be vulnerable to attack. It takes a method that can guarantee the security of the data. AES has become a trusted encryption method because of its computational power. Blowfish as a newer method is also trusted because it is efficient and effective in storing data. A web-based application was successfully created based on this method. This app is used to test the combination of these 2 methods. The data used in this study is audio data. Audio data has a higher level of complexity than text data in general, so it requires additional processing when encrypted. Based on the test results, it was found that, the results of the data survived against security attacks with the plain text analysis method with a decryption rate of 0.049%. In addition, the method also succeeded in encrypting data at an average speed of 14 seconds, and decrypting data at an average speed of 13 seconds.
Novario Jaya Perdana Bagus Mulyawan Vico Lukianto Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 820 828 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.820-828 Personnel Information System and Applied AHP Method For Selecting The Best Employee at Gadingsari Village https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29473
Currently, we are in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 where the role of technology is very rapid. The calculation uses the AHP method with the criteria of Responsibility, Work Experience, and Attendance. This calculation can be used for selecting the best employees with acceptable index consistency.
Wilson Dedi Trisnawarman Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 829 836 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.829-836 The Design Development and Application of Sustainable Design on Workstations https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/ijaste/article/view/29474
The high use of materials in the manufacture of furniture makes the furniture design sector become one of the sectors that use natural resources highly, for example, wood. The uncontrolled use of wood materials will result in the deforestation of forest land which is the largest source of oxygen. Therefore, the researcher wants to analyze recycled materials such as plastic and other wood that are sustainable, this is done to achieve the following objectives: (1) Maximizing the use of recycled materials for furniture to reduce the use of excess materials, (2) Designing eco-friendly furniture to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, (3) Identify the strengths and weaknesses of recycled materials in furniture design. This research uses qualitative methods and case studies with descriptive approach methods as well as collecting observation data through literature study techniques. The results of the analysis state that furniture made from recycled materials, especially plastic materials, to overcome sea water pollution is not impossible, this is supported by the presence of a British couple, Alexander Groves and Azusa Murakami, who have succeeded in creating some household furniture made from recycled plastic. The conclusion, furniture design with the aim of sustainability can be implemented if the technical aspects are well thought out. This is what will be done in the design of the workstation at the Tokopedia office.
Destin Connellya Maitri Widya Mutiara Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Application on Sciences, Technology and Engineering https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2023-05-31 2023-05-31 1 2 837 843 10.24912/ijaste.v1.i2.837-843
