PERAN FIGUR MASKOT “SARANG” SEBAGAI BRAND PERSONALITY FSRD UNTAR DIMATA MASYARAKAT INDONESIA

Abstract

The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Tarumanagara University (FSRD Untar) is one of the departments in the field of visual creativity within Tarumanagara University and the scope of the archipelago. In its role in realizing its image in society, FSRD Untar chose to develop one of the creative works of its alumni, including the role of female youth figures in designing the illustration book "space between breath" by Cindy Salim. The figure of a female teenager with short blue hair and a pink-blue dress which was eventually used and developed into a brand personality figure for the "Sarang" Mascot. Through a literature study methodology paradigm approach related to previous and current data and documentation. The development of the "Nest" Mascot in the concept of color as well as the function of the mascot itself, has been carried out by FSRD in which an explanation of the forms of visual development will be described in this study.


 


Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain Universitas Tarumanagara ( FSRD Untar ) merupakan salah satu departemen dibidang kreatif visual dalam lingkungan Universitas Tarumanagara dan lingkup nusantara. Dalam perannya mewujudkan citranya dimasyarakat, FSRD Untar memilih untuk mengembangkan salah satu hasil karya kreatif para alumninya, diantaranya peran tokoh remaja wanita dalam perancangan buku ilustrasi “space between breath” karya Cindy Salim. Sosok remaja Wanita berambut pendek berwarna biru dan bergaun merah muda – biru yang pada akhirnya digunakan dan dikembangkan menjadi sosok brand personality Maskot “Sarang”. Melalui pendekatan paradigma metodologi studi literatur terkait data-data dan dokumentasi terdahulu dan yang terkini. Pengembangan Maskot “Sarang” secara konsep warna dan juga fungsi dari maskot itu sendiri, telah di lakukan oleh FSRD yang mana penjelasan bentuk bentuk pengembangan visual akan di jabarkan dalam penelitian ini.
