DESAIN RAK PENYIMPANAN DAN PAPAN INFORMASI MULTIFUNGSI DI TPQ AL MUNAWWAROH

Abstract

The development of furniture design follows the times and technology. Various models of furniture such as shelves, cabinets, tables, chairs have various shapes and designs. Now, the multifunctional design has become one of the attractions for people to buy it, because it can be used for various functions at once and is more efficient in terms of area because it does not take up much space. The design of multifunctional furniture is not only used for residential needs, but in the field of education it has also used multifunctional furniture designs, such as multifunctional storage shelves that are commonly used, in addition to having a unique shape, a multifunctional design is also more efficient. One of the informal education places that requires multifunctional furniture design is TPQ Al Munawwaroh. At TPQ Al Munawwaroh requires a storage rack as well as an information board that is used as a storage area as well as an information board to inform the name of the TPQ, year of establishment, name of teacher and number of students. The design of the information board and storage cabinet is a design proposal to save space while having various functions, namely as a storage cabinet and information board, because the TPQ space is limited with the number of students as many as 61 people, the solution offered is a storage rack design that has many functions. The implementation method is through the primary data collection stage through surveys on TPQ, partner interviews; and secondary data collection (through literature studies related to standards and ergonomics theories of multifunctional shelves); and the implementation stage, namely the PKM Results stage in the form of a storage rack design and a multifunctional information board design based on problems with partners, design standards and suggestions from the team.

Perkembangan desain furniture mengikuti perkembangan jaman dan teknologi. Berbagai model furniture seperti rak, lemari, meja, kursi memiliki bentuk dan desain yang bermacam-macam. Pada perkembangannya saat ini, desain yang multifungsi menjadi salah satu daya tarik masyarakat untuk membelinya, karena dapat digunakan berbagai fungsi serta lebih efisien dari segi luasan karena tidak memakan banyak tempat. Desain furniture multifungsi tidak hanya digunakan pada kebutuhan rumah tinggal saja, tetapi pada bidang pendidikan sudah memakai desain furniture multifungsi, seperti rak penyimpanan multifungsi yang umum digunakan, selain memiliki bentuk yang unik, desain yang multifungsi juga lebih efisien. Salah satu tempat pendidikan informal yang membutuhkan desain furniture multifungsi yaitu TPQ Al Munawwaroh. Pada TPQ Al Munawwaroh memerlukan rak penyimpanan sekaligus papan informasi yang digunakan sebagai tempat penyimpanan sekaligus sebagai papan informasi untuk menginformasikan Nama TPQ, Tahun berdiri, Struktur kepengurusan TPQ dan Jumlah Santri. Desain Papan informasi dan lemari penyimpanan merupakan usulan desain untuk menghemat ruangan sekaligus memiliki berbagai fungsi yaitu sebagai lemari penyimpanan dan papan informasi, karena ruang TPQ yang terbatas dengan jumlah santri sebanyak 61 orang, maka solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu desain rak penyimpanan yang memiliki banyak fungsi. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu melalui tahap awal antara lain: survei pada TPQ, wawancara mitra; serta studi literatur terkait standar serta teori-teori ergonomi rak multifungsi; serta tahap pelaksanaan yaitu tahap desain. Hasil PKM berupa desain Rak Penyimpanan dan papan informasi multifungsi desain berdasarkan permasalahan pada mitra , standar perancangan serta usulan dari Tim.
