Abstract

Respiratory disorders affect a person's lung health. Breathing exercise is an effective non-pharmacological pulmonary rehabilitation condition to improve the function of the respiratory system. Breathing exercises have a positive effect on a physiological and psychological level. The FK UNTAR service team intends to provide health education about breathing exercises. Health education related to breathing exercises is given to partners in the form of understanding breathing exercises and understanding breathing techniques. The purpose of education related to breathing exercises is to increase insight and awareness about the importance of breathing exercises and can be applied to everyday life. Educational activities and breathing training on October 13-14 2022 online and offline from 14.00-17.00 have been carried out smoothly. The series of activities consisted of an initial screening questionnaire related to breathing exercises, delivery of counseling materials related to breathing exercises, direct training accompanied by counseling in the form of material presented related to breathing exercise techniques and practiced directly during counseling. breathing exercises who answered doing breathing exercises as much as 42.9%, participants who did not do as much as 42.9% and 14.3% might do breathing training and after breathing training mentoring the results were 64% of participants stated that breathing exercises made the breathing process easier and 36% increase chest wall mobility.


 


Gangguan pernapasan mempengaruhi kesehatan paru seseorang. Latihan pernapasan merupakan suatu kondisi rehabilitasi paru nonfarmakologis efektif untuk memperpaiki fungsi sistem respirasi. Latihan pernapasan memiliki efek positif pada tingkat fisiologis dan psikologis. Tim pengabdian FK UNTAR bermaksud memberikan edukasi kesehatan tentang latihan pernapasan. Edukasi kesehatan terkait latihan pernapasan yang diberikan kepada mitra berupa pengertian latihan pernapasan serta pemahaman teknik pernapasan. Tujuan edukasi terkait latihan pernapasan adalah menambah wawasan serta kesadaran tentang pentingnya latihan pernapasan dan dapat diterapkan pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan edukasi serta pelatihan pernapasan tanggal 13-14 Oktober 2022 secara daring dan luring pukul 14.00-17.00 telah terlaksana dengan lancer. Rangkaian kegiatan terdiri dari kuisioner skrining awal terkait latihan pernapasaan, penyampaian materi penyuluhan terkait latihan pernapasan, pelatihan langsung disertai penyuluhan berupa materi yang dipaparkan terkait teknik latihan pernapasan dan dipraktekkan langsung pada saat penyuluhan. latihan pernapasan yang menjawab melakukan latihan pernapasan sebanyak 42,9%, peserta yang tidak melakukan sebanyak 42,9 % dan 14,3 % mungkin melakukan pelatihan pernapasan. serta setelah dilakukan pendampingan pelatihan pernapasan hasilnya 64% peserta menyatakan latihan pernapasan mempermudah proses bernapas dan 36 % meningkatkan mobilisasi dinding dada.
