Additionally, rental service companies in Garut have yet to conduct a study on the measurement of the level of service quality provided. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of service quality, map the current service positions provided by the service provider, and determine priority quality attributes to formulate improvement plans to enhance customer satisfaction. The approach used is quantitative descriptive, utilizing service quality dimensions proposed by Grönroos as a reference for organizing quality attributes. The research method consists of three stages: first, the Servqual method is used to determine the gap between expected and perceived services; the ZoT method is employed to map quality attributes, providing an overview of the measured quality attribute positions within tolerance limits; and the AHP method is utilized to prioritize attributes for recommended improvements. The research findings indicate overall satisfaction with the measured service quality. However, four quality attributes have negative gaps and fall outside tolerance limits, indicating suboptimal service. Meanwhile, the largest-weighted quality attributes are prioritized in formulating improvement plans, with the “penyedia jasa cekatan (Tangkas) dalam memberikan solusi ketika terjadi yang tidak diharapkan” (C4.3) being the top priority. The analysis of prioritized quality attributes results in the development of a guide or procedure to facilitate the company in addressing customer complaints.</em></p> </div> </div> </div> Hilmi Aulawi, Ara Firmansyah Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Mitra Teknik Industri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29728 Thu, 18 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 PENERAPAN METODE CRITICAL PATH METHOD (CPM) PADA PENJADWALAN REPARASI KAPAL PATROLI XVI 2012 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29720 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>Ship repair work at shipyard facilities at the Ship Repair Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Pattimura University has not implemented project scheduling methods to optimize performance. Determining the time and scheduling of ship repair work is still done based on experience alone. As a result, time and cost inefficiencies occur which result in low performance, making it difficult for the docking and shipping industry to develop and contribute to the development of the maritime sector. This research aims to optimize the 2012 XVI Patrol Ship repair schedule. The method used in this research is the Critical Path Method (CPM). The object of the research is Patrol Ship XVI 2012. The research results show that the repair work process in existing conditions contains 24 activities and 21 routes which require 50.25 hours of work time. Rescheduling with CPM produces a critical path with 10 activities and 9 paths that require a processing time of 22.5 hours, or there is an efficiency of 44%. These results prove that CPM has succeeded in optimizing ship repair work time. These findings are useful for the Ship Repair Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Pattimura University to optimize performance to support the development of Indonesia's maritime sector.</p> </div> </div> </div> Hanok Mandaku, M. A company that focuses on quality continuously builds consumer trust in the company. Consumers can assess a company based on the products it produces. If a product is of high quality, it means that the company's processes have successfully met quality standards. Therefore, satisfied consumers will be happy to use the product consistently. PT XYZ is one such company that prioritizes quality. Product quality is monitored from the beginning to the end of the production process by the Quality Control department to ensure that the products meet standards. In reality, even when a product goes through the production process according to the correct instructions and formulas, there are still instances of non-conformities found in product samples during quality testing. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the factors causing these issues using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method. The research focuses on wall paint products in the Finish Goods section. By using a Pareto diagram, it was determined that the most common non-conformities were viscosity issues, accounting for 58 instances or 39%, and pH issues, accounting for 51 instances or 34%. Subsequently, an analysis of the causes was conducted using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), leading to the identification of factors contributing to these failures, including operator factors, process factors, environmental factors, and raw materials.</em></p> </div> </div> </div> Vigna Shindy Culatta, Ibnu Abdul Rosid Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Mitra Teknik Industri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29729 Thu, 18 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 PERANCANGAN TROLLEY MOBILE AUDIO SEWAAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE REVERSE ENGINEERING DAN VDI 2221 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29730 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p><em>The situation after the COVID-19 pandemic made people need places for entertainment so that the tourism and entertainment sector grew rapidly. With the emergence of work from home, people need a place for entertainment. In this process, to maintain customer retention, requests arise to hold live music, background sound, or function rooms for rent. In that case, audio is needed with good quality, easy to store, easy to adjust, move or direct so that its use can be maximized and reduce costs. Audio equipment is synonymous with large size and weight, making it difficult to move and not portable for mobile use. Therefore, a tool is needed to design a mobile audio trolley so that audio is easy to carry and use at competitive prices. With so many 4-6 inch speakers that are sold in large quantities, this is the benchmark for the dimensions of this product. By adjusting based on existing reverse engineering benchmarks known need metrics matrix, it is obtained that Product Functions in the first rank are made as priority needs. The difference after owning this product is that small equipment is safely carried around, speakers are moved easily and also with minimal effort, the speaker body remains smooth, the speaker's moisture is even more durable, it is much easier to carry and you are not afraid of the weather outside because this product is guarded.</em></p> </div> </div> </div> Barjuan Theofano Evaprast, Frans Jusuf Daywin, Lina Gozali Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Mitra Teknik Industri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29730 Thu, 18 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK PIPA PADA PUMP IN ROLL DI PT. Companies are increasingly fighting over consumers and trying to make their products more superior and desirable. Competition between companies cannot be avoided, thus companies must pay attention to several things during the production process so that they can facethe tough competition, one of which is to pay more attention to the quality of the products that will be marketed to consumers and minimize production defects so that consumer satisfaction can be fulfilled. In the interviews conducted, several product defects were obtained in the form of corrugated welding results of 54.35%, jagged cuts of 10.87%, sanding left 26.09% of residual welds and the result of painting on the pipe was lumpy of 8.70%. There are root problems in the production of pump in roll pipes, namely the human operator fatigue factor, the machine factor because there is no routine maintenance on the welding machine so that the welding process is not optimal, the method factor is the absence of WPS (welding process certification) in the welding work area and on environmental factors because there is no protection in the welding process area to avoid dust and water during the welding process. These factors have an impact on the pump in roll pipe production process so that it experiences several types of defects such as corrugated welding, jagged cutting processes, sanding which still leaves residual welds and lumpy and scratched paintwork.</em></p> </div> </div> </div> Putu Wiyoga Fernandha Y, Ahmad, Carla Olivia Doaly Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Mitra Teknik Industri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29731 Thu, 18 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 MODIFIKASI ALAT BANTU PEMBUATAN DODOL YANG ERGONOMIS UNTUK MENGURANGI KELUHAN PEKERJA DI UMKM DODOL DI TANGERANG https://journal.untar.ac.id/index.php/JMTI/article/view/29815 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>In the production process, IMK usually produces in traditional ways and has not automated.
