By turning on one side of the light, namely the right or left, it gives information to the riders behind and in front that you want to turn. Several factors can cause motorists to forget to turn off the turn signal, such as lack of concentration or the color of the turn signal during the day is less visible. Turn signal lights that stay on can confuse other motorists. Confusion of other drivers can break the concentration of road users and cause traffic accidents. With the aim of researching the causes of turn signal lights that keep on and confuse other people, a questionnaire was distributed to motorists. KS. PT. KS is a manufacturing company that produces candy. Based on the observations and research that has been done, there are defects or product defects during the process of making KOHE candy. This study aims to identify, analyze and provide suggestions for improvement for PT. KS in order to reduce the number of defects or product defects produced using the six sigma method. Based on the calculation of process capability and sigma value, product quality improvement is 15,136 DPMO with a sigma value of 3.67. Based on the FMEA, it can be seen that the causes of defects or product defects are candy squeezed between packages, placement of candy that does not fit, packaging that is not closed evenly and description of candy packaging that does not match. Based on the RPN calculation with the aim of determining the highest priority is a pinched packaging defect with an RPN value of 210 and a severity value of 7. The proposed improvements are improvements to work SOP, check sheets and one point lessons. It is hoped that this research can provide benefits in the form of reducing the number of defects during the production process at PT. The company experienced major problems, namely high transportation and production costs, as well as waiting time due to repairing defective products. This is because the quality control process of raw materials has not been effective in detecting the cause of defective products. In this study, it used the lean six sigma method with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach to minimize waste and improve the quality of copper wire measuring 2.8 mm. After anlysis and data processing, the percentage of defect waste was 28.98%, waiting waste was 22.91%, and overprocessing waste was 18.87%. Meanwhile, the DPMO value was 6539 and the sigma value was 3.98. In the PCE calculation to find out the value of the efficiency of the production process, a value of 39.72% was obtained. After various kinds of analysis are carried out to find out the root cause of the problem, corrective actions are carried out in accordance with the cause of the existing problem. Indonesia is capable of producing primary and secondary products of processed chocolate. The primary product of processed chocolate is cacao seeds, while the secondary products as nata and raw material for composts. Along with the growth of Indonesia’s chocolate planting area, Indonesia’s production activities need to develop as well to optimize Indonesia’s process production. One of the machines that is used on processing primary product of chocolate is chocolate melting machine. Chocolate melting machine function to regulate chocolate paste temperature, that mixed fat in chocolate optimally. Chocolate melting machine also needs to keep temperature down for chocolate’s fat shrinkage, and to regulate chocolate’s temperature for pouring into mold. Akebonno model: 9818 is a product that able to keeps temperature on chocolate paste to mix fat and chocolate. This product can also keep chocolate’s temperature for chocolate’s fat shrinkage. The standards applied to workers are the use of Personal Protective Equipment or PPE (Gloves, Shoes and Masks, Eye Protectors, Leg Protectors, Ear Protectors), handling work accidents, handling emergencies, handling work accidents and prohibiting smoking and carrying dangerous equipment items in factory area. The method used to assess the severity of work accidents that occurred at CV. XYZ is the HAZOP method using likelihood and sovereignity indicators which are then calculated using a risk matrix and then classified in the Hazop Worksheet. The results obtained from the analysis tend to be mild to moderate types of accidents caused by careless workers and a lack of signs listed at the factory so that workers often forget to wear personal protective equipment that has been set according to factory standards. Storage of freon tubes when aligned below is very space-consuming and makes it difficult for technicians to identify the type of freon tube because several freon tubes have the same color, therefore in this study the authors are trying to make a freon tube storage rack which is expected to make it easier for technicians to identify the type of tube freon is needed, besides that this storage rack is expected to increase the space efficiency of the company. Data collection and processing includes several things, namely respondent data, product prerequisite questions and product research questions. The questionnaire is intended to obtain respondent data in using the tool you want to design. Then, the use of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire aims to determine work discomfort felt by workers. The researcher will continue the design according to the company's needs. using the VDI 2221 method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with workers, it can be concluded that there are still many physical complaints experienced by workers, so this research is focused on reducing workers' physical complaints. In calculating the company's current performance, what is considered in outline is the financial aspect, so that other aspects have not been considered. Intense competition in the current market share will certainly make the company's condition decline. Therefore it is necessary to have performance measurement and strategic planning. This performance calculating uses the Balanced Scorecard method which obtains 12 Key Performance Indicators (KPI), then calculated using the Objective Matrix and the Traffic Light System. The results of the Balanced Scorecard are: Financial Perspective 0.428, Customer Perspective 0.332, Internal Business Process Perspective 0.119, Learning and Growth Perspective 0.121. The results of the assessment using the Objective Matrix and Traffic Light System showed that 5 indicators were good, 2 performance indicators were not optimal, and 5 performance indicators needed improvement. This research was conducted at UMKM DWI VARISI located in Jatiuwung, Gembor. UMKM DWI VARIASI sells different types of car exteriors that are sold through several available e-commerce sites. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of productivity disruptions, where the research calculates the standard time, identifies complaints and analyzes work posture, designs powerful work aids, and provides suggestions for improvements to improve worker comfort. Before compounding the packing table at UMKM DWI VARIASI were carried out packing table analysis with reverse engineering for packing table parts, with the VDI 2221 design method. Meanwhile, to determine the standard time, use a stopwatch time study for the packing process and ergonomic methods to determine the complaints felt by workers. The production system implemented by UKM Larixa is considered to still have deficiencies, namely product defects and waste. Examples of waste that often occur are waste of waiting, waste of defects and waste of inventory. One way that can be used to reduce waste is to implement lean manufacturing. The data obtained has fulfilled the data adequacy test requirements, reliability tests and normality tests. Standard time is used as the basis for making current value stream mapping and process activity mapping where the process time lasts 1,102 minutes with a process cycle efficiency of 70.46%. The three biggest wastes after analysis are waste waiting with a percentage of 19.82%, waste inventory with a percentage of 18.86% and waste transportation with a percentage of 16.98%. The owners of boarding houses for rent will provide a study table in each room for the tenants to meet their needs. However, most of the study tables provided are less practical and less ergonomic, which will result in tenants lacking space to carry out other activities. Therefore, in this research, a redesign of multifunctional study table products available on the market was carried out using the reverse engineering method and VDI 2221. This research was carried out to design a study table that can solve the above problem, namely a study table that has several additional features to this product such as adding a multifunctional mattress feature that can be used as a sofa which will save space, adding a feature for placing the printer at the bottom of the table which will help the product's practicality in carrying out printing activities, adding a cool fan feature to the product This adds a double table feature to the study table, where one table is for placing a monitor and on the other table there is a cool fan for placing a laptop with a mattress as a seat.
